It is important for every customer affected to call and report their outage even if you believe your neighbor has already done so.

  ‘Notice – Temporary Water Service Interruption – Monday December 11, 2017 –  Please be advised that due to a water main break related to the contractors activity on Leola Avenue, water service will be temporarily interrupted to the homes on Snyder Avenue and limited homes on Lancaster Avenue and Church Street.  We expect the water to be shut off from approximately 4 PM to 10 PM barring any unforeseen problems.  In case of an emergency, please call the Keansburg Police Department at 732-787-0600.  

SAFETY RECALL

Kidde Fire Extinguishers

HAZARD: The fire extinguisher can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge.  In addition, the nozzle can detach with enough force to pose an impact hazard. 

REMEDY: Consumers should immediately contact Kidde for instructions regarding return of recalled fire extinguishers and to request a free replacment unit.

Proposals must be provided to the Borough of Keansburg, 29 Church Street, Keansburg, NJ 07734 attn: Clerks Office no later  than  10:00  a.m. on September 13, 2017, local prevailing time.

Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 for the purchase of $12,210,910 Bond Anticipation Notes, Series 2017A (the “Notes”) of the Borough of Keansburg, in the County of Monmouth, New Jersey (the “Borough”).  All bids will be publicly opened and announced at the Office of the Borough Chief Financial Officer on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., prevailing local time (“Sale Date”).

No telephone bids will be accepted.  Bids must be received by 11:00 a.m. on the Sale Date, and may be submitted by completing the attached bid form and submitting to the mailing address, email address and/or fax number shown on the bid form attached hereto as Exhibit A.  Sealed bids are encouraged, but emailed and/or faxed bids will be accepted provided they comply with the conditions stated herein.  If a bidder wishes to transmit its bid by email or fax, such bidder hereby acknowledges that such emailed or faxed bid will not be reviewed by the Borough until the public opening of the bids as aforesaid.  This Request for Bid has been posted on the Borough’s website (www.keansburgnj.gov).
